To London & Pittsburgh we go…

I just finished Pittsburgh and London, and I love them both for different reasons. London was nostalgic for me, and Pittsburgh was a breath of fresh air. Pittsburgh was my most frequently requested cityscape, and I wasn’t sure why until I started to research and draw it. I couldn’t get enough of this beautiful city. It has so much depth and personality and I hope that I was able to capture even just a wee bit in my print. I woke up this morning to a fabulous post from Pittsburgh’s Magazine http://www.pittsburghmagazine.com/Best-of-the-Burgh-Blogs/Pitt-Girl/.

How flattering!

LONDON was a city I’ve always wanted to do! I held off, only b/c I was afraid that it’s been done so many times that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to attempt it as well. I loved visiting London, it was all that I dreamed it would be! I only wish I could return now that I am older and have a better sense of myself.  I was 22 and just graduated from college. ENOUGH SAID, I am sure….

A friend sent me a link to your Pittsburgh print, and it made me so nostalgic for my hometown that I haven’t lived in in years. You captured our city perfectly.

I move around quite a lot, and so I hope to buy one of your prints for every city I’ve lived in… if you can make a Paris version, my collection will be complete. Wonderful work, thank you for sharing it with all of us.
